エイベックスが新レーベル「avex EDM」を設立することがわかった。
avex EDMは、エイベックスがEDMのアーティストを積極的に紹介していくために立ち上げたレーベル。参加アーティストには、Hardwell、、Nicky Romero、アーミン・ヴァン・ブーレン、Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike、W&W、Above & Beyond、Sick Individuals、YOJI BIOMEHANIKAらが名を連ねている。
同レーベルの第1弾作品として、9月2日にNicky Romeroの来日記念盤『PROTOCOL PRESENTS: NICKY ROMERO -SPECIAL JAPAN EDITION-』と、タワーレコード限定販売のコンピレーションアルバム『EDM MAXX presents: NO EDM, NO LIFE.』がリリース。さらに、10月7日にはベルギーの野外音楽フェスティバル『TOMORROWLAND』のオフィシャルコンピレーションアルバム『TOMORROWLAND 2015 - MELODIA』が発売される。
