Grateful Deadのトリビュートアルバム『The Day Of The Dead』の日本盤が6月15日にリリースされる。
Grateful Deadに大きな影響を受けたという双子の兄弟アーロン・デスナーとブライス・デスナー（共にThe National）が企画し、完成までに4年を要した同作。計60組のアーティストが参加し、59曲を収めた5枚組、総収録時間約6時間の作品となる。
参加アーティストにはThe Nationalをはじめ、Wilco、The Flaming Lips、ジャスティン・ヴァーノン（Bon Iver）、スティーヴン・マルクマス（Pavement）、アイラ・カプラン（YO LA TENGO）、ダニエル・ロッセン（Grizzly Bear）、Unknown Mortal Orchestra、Mumford & Sons、コートニー・バーネット、ANOHNI、Perfume Genius、リー・ラナルド（Sonic Youth）、ティム・ヘッカー、トゥンデ・アデビンペ（TV On The Radio）、カート・ヴァイル、J・マスシス（Dinosaur Jr.）、Bonnie 'Prince' Billy、サム・アミドンらが名を連ねている。またWilcoとボブ・ウェア（Grateful Dead）、The Nationalとウェアによるライブ音源も収録される。
